Is That La Costa Oaks Foreclosure For You – Carlsbad, CA

Categories: Buyers, Carlsbad, Communities, La Costa, La Costa Oaks, Oceanside, Relocation, San Elijo, San Marcos

La Costa Oaks - Carlsbad, Oceanside ForeclosureLa Costa Oaks homes that have been repossessed by the lender because the Carlsbad owners failed to pay the mortgage are Carlsbad foreclosures. Thousands of Carlsbad and San Diego homes end up in foreclosure every year. Many Carlsbad residents lose their homes due to job loss, credit problems or unexpected expenses.

As a La Costa, Carlsbad, or Oceanside buyer, it is wise to be cautious when considering a San Diego foreclosure. Carlsbad foreclosures (and any other foreclosures) are normally sold as is.  As a Carlsbad home buyer, it is important to have the house thoroughly inspected and to be sure that any liens, undisclosed mortgages or court judgments are cleared or at least disclosed.

There are some amazing prices on short sales and foreclosures right now in La Costa Oaks, La Costa Ridge, La Costa Greens, and San Elijo.  You can search for Carlsbad, Oceanside or San Marcos foreclosures for sale from our Foreclosure Search button below this post.

When you are ready to make an investment into a La Costa, Carlsbad, Oceanside, or San Marcos foreclosure property, we can put our expert knowledge to work for you. Give us a call today!

NEW Encinitas Farmer’s Market

Categories: Communities, Community Events, Community Favorites, Encinitas, La Costa, La Costa Greens, La Costa Oaks, La Costa Ridge, San Elijo

Encinitas - La Costa - Olivenhain - Carlsbad Farmer's MarketOne of the best things about living in Encinitas, La Costa, and Carlsbad is the fresh produce!  I’m originally from Indiana.  My idea of vegetables included corn, potatoes, and tomatoes.  I had never had an artichoke or an avocado or asparagus until I moved to California!
Then I found out about farmer’s markets.  No matter how great the produce may be at the Carlsbad Costco, or the La Costa Henry’s, or the Carlsbad Jimbo’s – nothing beats the freshness (and often the price) of the local farmer’s market.

The New Encinitas Farmer’s Market is open on Sundays from 2 pm – 5 pm at Flora Vista Elementary School at 1690 Wandering Road, Encinitas – 92024.  The farmer’s market is designed to serve inland Encinitas, Olivenhain, Rancho Santa Fe, La Costa, and San Elijo, where there are no community farmer’s markets.

That Carlsbad Foreclosure is Doing More Than Just Dropping Your Property Value

Categories: Carlsbad, Communities, Foreclosure Prevention, La Costa, Market Trends, San Elijo

We already know those Carlsbad, San Elijo, and La Costa foreclosures are dragging down our property values. In many La Costa and San Elijo neighborhoods in particular, the foreclosures and short sales alone have caused our property values to decline over 25%. If you, as a La Costa or Carlsbad real estate seller, have to sell your home – you are competing with that La Costa or Carlsbad foreclosure next door, or the next street over.
But did you also know that the foreclosure is actually putting your property in danger? Most foreclosed properties also don’t have insurance. They are also often vacant – leaving them vulnerable to theft, vandalism, and fires. There are some risks to your Carlsbad home in having a vacant home nearby.
One of the things you can do, is partner up with your Carlsbad, La Costa, and San Elijo neighbors to  keep an eye on vacant property.  If you ever see anything suspicious – call the police.  It IS your problem too!
