Oceanside Real Estate – Oceanside Market Statistics – June 2009
The Oceanside real estate for sale market statistics are pretty unusual this month. You will see that for each May and June, the Oceanside home sale lows included a house that sold for $15,000 and another that sold for $135. These numbers are correct. They aren’t typos. But I do think that they unfairly skew both statistics and expectations. Based on their unbelievably low prices and their market times, you must look further into what may have happened here. My belief is that these were foreclosed/bank owned properties that were sold in some type of private deal before the property ever really made it to market. Are there great deals to be had – MOST DEFINITELY! Should you expect a deal like this – probably not! But it’s always nice to see the best and worst of what is happening in today’s market place.
