San Diego Botanic Gardens – Garden of Lights

As we head into the holiday season, some of local Encinitas businesses are starting to celebrate in style!  The San Diego Botanic Gardens will decorate their beautiful 30 acres into a dazzling winter wonderland.  They will use over 100,000 sparkling lights to illuminate their trees, palms, flowering plants, and bamboo forest. 

They will have activities for the entire family – from horse drawn wagon rides, marshmallow roasting over a fire, holiday crafts, live music, and refreshments.  They will even be offering photos with Santa. 

The event runs from 5-9 pm on December 10-23 or December 26-30.  Admission prices are $8 for members, military, seniors, and students.  $12 for non-members.  $4 for children 3-12.  The event will be at the San Diego Botanic Gardens at 230 Quail Gardens Drive, Encinitas.
